Coming this March
The New NEW YORK SPACES
Expect the Best of Both Magazines
NEW YORK SPACES and NEW YORK HOME, the two shelter magazines serving metropolitan New York, will be joining forces and re-launching as a whole new NEW YORK SPACES.
The plan, according to Carroll V. Dowden, chairman and CEO of Wainscot Media, is “to take the best elements of New York Home and incorporate them into New York Spaces.”
Jason Kontos Will Set Editorial Direction
The assimilation begins with the editor in chief of New York Home, Jason Kontos, who will become editor in chief of New York Spaces. Kontos has a long and distinguished career in the field of interior design having previously served in senior editorial positions with House Beautiful, Veranda and Traditional Home. Rita Guarna, founding editor in chief of New York Spaces, is being promoted to corporate editorial director of Wainscot Media.
Additional Issues in 2008
A redesign of New York Spaces will debut with the March 2008 issue. Other plans for the year include increasing from seven issues to 10 issues and adding an advertising zone for Connecticut, bringing total circulation to 150,000 in the New York metropolitan area. |
